Research:
I look for stuff you can't see. My research develops methods to detect physics that couples only very weakly to light and ordinary matter. I'm interested in the signatures of very weakly coupled physics in small-scale laboratory systems, where signal and noise are small enough to require a quantum mechanical description. Right now I work on problems in neutrino detection and phenomenology, and I'm also interested in how precision experiments can probe gravitational waves and dark matter.

Academic Career:
Prior to joining the LBL Quantum Measurement Group in September 2026, I studied at UIUC under Yoni Kahn from 2020 to 2026, earning a PhD in theoretical particle physics. Before that, I earned a BS in physics and math from the University of Michigan in 2020.
