My research interests lie at the intersection of quantum information, thermodynamics, and many-body physics. I am currently working on understanding how entropic forces can arise in quantum many-body systems, and whether gravity can arise as an emergent force. I am also interested in open quantum systems and quantum measurement theory.
During undergrad, I worked in the Computational Nanoelectronics and Quantum Transport group under Prof. Bhaskaran Muralidharan at IIT Bombay. My work focused on transport signatures of Majorana modes in hybrid systems, graphene-based devices, and unconventional superconductivity. I have also worked on quantum error correction during a summer internship at RWTH Aachen University (2022) under Prof. Markus Müller, and studied Fock parafermions during a summer internship in the Theory of Mesoscopic Quantum Systems (TMQS) group at the University of Luxembourg (2021) under Prof. Thomas Schmidt.
